Statement of Faith …
Total Victory Church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts the following statement of fundamental truths:
Unity
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible, future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought church that it may be with Him forever.

Love, Salvation, Eternity
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a holy life.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation.
We believe in water baptism by immersion and the observance of the Lord’s Supper.
We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and that it provides eternal hope and healing f the human body in answer to believing prayer.
Liberty
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and that it provides eternal hope and healing f the human body in answer to believing prayer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Bible say about sex before marriage?
The Bible speaks clearly about sexual purity, warning against sins such as adultery—when a married person has relations outside of their marriage (Proverbs 6:32; 1 Corinthians 6:18; Hebrews 13:4)—and fornication, which refers to sexual immorality in general (Matthew 15:19; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1). While the exact phrase “premarital sex” is not used in Scripture, it falls under the broader category of sexual immorality, which God calls His people to avoid. Instead, He invites us to honor Him with our bodies and relationships, embracing His design for love and commitment.
What does the Bible teach about the Trinity?
From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals Himself as one Being in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—using terms like “us” and “our” (Genesis 1:26). The Trinity means God is three in Person yet one in essence.
- The Father is the source of all things—Creator, initiator of salvation, and giver of divine revelation (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 3:16).
- The Son, Jesus Christ, accomplishes the Father’s works—creating and sustaining the universe, revealing God, and securing salvation (John 1:3; 2 Corinthians 5:19).
- The Holy Spirit is the power through whom God acts—active in creation, revelation, and regeneration (Genesis 1:2; John 3:6).
The Trinity is not three gods but one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Spirit in perfect unity.
What does the Bible say about suicide?
Suicide is a heartbreaking reality in our fallen world, a tragic consequence of deep despair. The Bible affirms the sanctity of life, reminding us that each person is created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and that our lives belong to Him (Psalm 139:13-16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Taking one’s own life is a serious matter, but Scripture also reveals God’s grace, compassion, and desire to bring hope to the hopeless (Psalm 34:18; Matthew 11:28-30).
If you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, please know that your life has purpose, and you are deeply loved. Seek help now—reach out to a friend, family member, pastor, or counselor. In the U.S., you can call 988 or 1-800-273-8255 for immediate support. If you are in danger, go to a hospital or call 911. You are not alone, and there is hope.
What happens after death?
Believers in Jesus Christ go immediately to be with the Lord after death, as their sins are forgiven through faith (John 3:16, 18, 36; 2 Corinthians 5:6–8; Philippians 1:23). However, their physical bodies remain in the grave until the resurrection, when they will be raised, glorified, and reunited with their souls (1 Corinthians 15:50–54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–17). In this perfected state, believers will dwell eternally with God in the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21–22).
